Why Drama Matters . . .
All children who are enrolled in one of our plays gain insight and training into the World of Musical Theater by being in one of our exciting productions! Voice, music, dancing, singing and acting are all skills that are learned by participating in one of our plays. Each child is spotlighted in his or her own way and all young actors are important parts of our production.
Our mission is to encourage our young actors to learn important life skills in a fun way - WITH DRAMA! We've been"dancing, singing and acting" "life skills" through drama for over 20 years. Being on stage is much more than just acting. Its about building self confidence, gaining stage presence, obtaining clarity of voice, reading skills, making memorable new friends and most of all being part of a team. All of these traits are life long tools that help with school and career.
Being in a fabulous musical production with friends helps children to express themselves in a new way. In our world of iPhones, video games and instant messages - we all communicate with one another in short impersonal ways. We encourage our young actors to express themselves in a humanistic way - WITH DRAMA!
Our programs make drama discovery fun and affordable in a convenient way with locations across Westchester County.
